It depends of a number of factors that we can help you determine. For smaller organizations it is usually placed in our data center. However for larger organizations we can place it in your data center with a possible replication to our data center (option).

Q2: How can I start with BlueBackUp?
  • Install the Agent(s) on the machine(s) that you would like to backup.
  • Install the Administrator on a Windows desktop.
  • Connect the Agent to the Administrator.
  • Create a backup task..
  • Initiate the backup immediately of schedule it for a later backup.

Q3: What type of connection do I need ?

Our Corporate solution requires a reliable, dedicated Internet connection. This connection could be cable modem, ADSL, SDSL and leased lines . The faster your connection, the more efficiently your backups will run.

Q4: How does BlueBackUp compare with tape backup?

Customers are invoiced at the beginning of each month based on the amount of compressed data stored on the backup server. This solution is flexible and follows your needs.

Q7: Does BlueBackUp work on Macintosh computers?

No, BlueBackUp does not work on Macs.
